Introduction to our Faculty
Message from Paula
I spend a great deal of time searching for new additions to our faculty. They must be professionally trained and great communicators with both children and adults. But besides that they must be passionate about dance and have great energy and enthusiasm to share with their students. PMD has programs in Jazz, Tap, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Lyrical, and the ever popular Hip-Hop. Besides ballet, I personally teach the youngest students of PMD, not only because they are adorable, but because they are the future of dance. It is very important that even at the tender age of two children begin to develop a love of movement and music and the empowerment of individual expression and creativity. You will really be amazed at how much a young child can learn about the world of dance by introducing them to simple movement accompanied by fun music, props and other enthusiastic children and careful nurturing instruction.
